Start here: what ANOMALITH is A survival third-person shooter set in a Showa-era Japan where Anomaly Zones appear without warning. Digital release is out now; physical follows on 13 November 2026.
→ 02 Story and setting: the zones, the mall, and the missing friend Reona and Arisa were trapped when a shopping mall anomalized. The two were separated; Reona survived, joined the Countermeasures Office, and went back in.
→ 03 Cast: the eight dossiers on the official site The official site publishes eight character files, each with a voice actor: Reona, Arisa, four Countermeasures Office staff, a mysterious diver, and a girl from the mall.
→ 04 Reona Minazuki: the Diver The protagonist. A 17-year-old Diver who escaped a dysfunctional home, lost her only friend to an Anomaly Zone, and returned to the zones by choice.
→ 05 Arisa Kato: the friend who disappeared Reona’s best friend and a student at Koin Girls’ Academy. She vanished when the mall anomalized, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
→ 06 Supporting cast: the office, the stranger, and the Girl Six more official dossiers: the chief, the operator, the researcher, the security head, a mysterious diver, and the child from the mall.
→ 07 Combat and dives: the loop the game is built around Dive, retrieve, return. Ammo is finite, weapon choice matters, and extraction is the point — not clearing every room.
→ 08 Skills and gear: 12 powers, nine gear slots, one gun at a time Anomalization skills cover offence and defence; guns take attachments; artifacts change stats; gear is split into nine parts. Appearance can be changed without touching stats.
→ 09 Beginner tips: survive the first few dives A first-session plan built from the systems the game documents: ammo discipline, one good gun, defensive skills, and an early extraction.
→ 10 Release, platforms and editions Digital is out now on PS5, Switch 2 and Steam. Physical arrives 13 November 2026 JST. A Digital Deluxe edition adds an art book, mini soundtrack and DLC set.
